Are you considering applying for a job with us? How fun! Then we just want to tell you a little about GDPR. It stands for General Data Protection Regulation, and is a new data protection law that enters into force within the EU on May 25, 2018. GDPR replaces the Swedish Personal Data act PUL.

It is important to us at Hisingens Truck that you feel safe with how we handle your personal data and we have taken measures to ensure that this legislation can be followed correctly. We are open about how we collect, process and share the information we store about you with us. According to the GDPR, you have the right to access the information we hold about you.

• The employer has drawn up this policy based on current data protection legislation and clarifies how we work to protect the employee’s rights and privacy.
• The employer processes your personal data primarily to fulfill our obligations towards you. Our starting point is not to process more personal data than is necessary for the purpose and we always strive to use the least privacy-sensitive data.
• The employer needs the employees personal data to provide you with good service, for example regarding salary payments, tax matters and information. We may also need your personal data to comply with other laws.
• The employer does not process personal data other than when it is necessary to fulfill obligations according to the agreement and the law.
• The employer has developed routines and working methods for the employee’s personal data to be handled in a secure manner. The starting point is that only employees and other people within the organization who need the personal data to perform their tasks should have access to it.
• The employer does not transfer personal data in cases other than those expressly stated in this policy.
• The employer is responsible for personal data, which means that we are responsible for how your personal data is processed and that your rights are taken care of.
